THE GLOSSARY
Buy-side liquidity (BSL) rests above equal highs and prior highs; sell-side liquidity (SSL) rests below equal lows. Retail stop orders and breakout entries cluster at these levels, and price is repeatedly driven into these pools before reversing — they're magnets, not barriers.
The engine tracks weekly BSL/SSL live, all session. See where it sits right now →
Splitting a dealing range at its midpoint gives premium (upper half) and discount (lower half). Buying in discount and selling in premium is the basic edge — longs taken in premium are where late entries get trapped when the range reverts.
Every brief publishes exactly where price sits in the weekly range. See today's zone →
A Change of Character (CHoCH) is the first close beyond a prior swing point against the prevailing trend. It's the earliest reversal signal in the structure — and it only counts on a candle close, never a wick.
Confirmed live across weekly, 4H, and 1H. See the current structure read →
A Break of Structure (BOS) is a continuation through a prior swing in the direction of trend — the opposite of a CHoCH. Confirmed on closes, it's the structure agreeing with itself rather than reversing.
The engine distinguishes CHoCH from BOS on every timeframe — most retail tools don't. See it in practice →
The OTE zone is the 61.8–78.6% retracement of an impulse leg — the pocket where unfilled institutional orders are believed to sit, and where re-entry into a move is most commonly sought. Reaching it isn't a signal; reacting there is.
Live OTE bounds, refined against lower-timeframe confirmation, are exactly what the Setup Card publishes. See today's zone →
A Fair Value Gap (FVG) is a three-candle inefficiency where price moved too quickly for orders to fill, leaving a visible imbalance. Gold fills these gaps with high frequency, which is why they're tracked as both entries and targets.
Bullish and bearish FVGs are tracked live across 1H, 15M, and 5M. See the current gaps →
An order block is the last opposing candle before a displacement move — the footprint of where large orders were likely placed just before price expanded away from that level.
Order block confluence feeds directly into setup grading. See how today's setup grades →
A breaker block is an order block that failed to hold and was broken through, then later acts as support/resistance from the opposite side once price returns to retest it.
Part of the same structural read that feeds the daily bias. See today's bias →
An Inversion FVG is a Fair Value Gap that gets fully violated rather than respected — once broken, it can flip and act as support or resistance from the opposite direction, similar in spirit to a breaker block.
Tracked as part of the live FVG read across timeframes. See the current gap structure →
A Judas Swing is a deliberate false move at the start of a session — typically Asia or early London — designed to trap retail positioning before the real directional move begins later in the session.
Judas detection is one of the confluence tags shown live on every setup. See if one's active today →
Power of Three (AMD) describes a session unfolding in three phases: Accumulation (consolidation), Manipulation (a fake move to collect liquidity), and Distribution (the real, delivered move).
Session structure — Asia builds the range, London raids it, New York delivers — is baked into the live desk alerts. See it live all session →
The Silver Bullet is a narrow, specific one-hour window each session (defined slices of London and New York) where an FVG forming and being tapped is treated as a high-probability, repeatable pattern.
The Vault tracks win rate on Silver Bullet entries specifically, separate from every other trigger type. See its real win rate →
The Opening Range (ORB) is the high-low range formed in the first few minutes after RTH opens. A break of that range, in either direction, is one of the earliest reads on session intent.
/GC's ORB is measured from the correct 8:20AM ET futures open — not the forex-hours version most tools use. See today's opening range →
A liquidity void is a stretch of price with very few trades behind it — a fast, thin move. Price often revisits these areas quickly since so little real volume transacted there the first time.
Flagged as part of the same structural map used to set targets. See today's key levels →
Gold trades through three overlapping windows — Globex/Asia, London, and RTH/New York. Kill zones are the narrower, historically high-volatility slices inside those sessions where most of a day's real movement tends to happen.
Session boxes and kill zone alerts run live on the chart, calibrated to /GC's actual 8:20AM ET open — not generic forex hours. See the live chart →
This is the vocabulary. The Terminal is the edge.
Every term above is something the engine actually detects, live, on real COMEX Gold data — recomputed every 5 minutes across five timeframes. The definitions are free. The daily bias, entry, stop, targets, and R:R for what's happening right now is what membership unlocks.
